Notes

    * - Dramatic drops in various totals in the IISS The Military Balance for 2012 compared with that from 2010 suggests that large amounts of equipment previously reported has been in storage or was otherwise not serviceable.

    1 - As of 2000, 295 tanks, 94 infantry fighting vehicles, and 254 armored personnel carriers were reported to be in storage. In addition, some 158 artillery pieces out of a total of 1,515 were also reported to be in storage.

    2 - Stores of these weapons includes self-propelled variants.
