1st Submarine Flotilla
China's Xia-class (Type 092) SSBN submarines, deployed with the Northern Fleet, are assigned to the 1st Submarine Flotilla. In wartime, SSBN assets would come under the direct control of the Central Military Commission.
This unit had previously been mis-identified as the 9th Submarine Fleet.
