SSU detains russian special services agent who spied on Defense Forces in Donetsk region

The SSU Counterintelligence detained another enemy agent who adjusted russian strikes on the defenders of Donetsk region. The perpetrator is a woman from Sviatohirsk.
She was recruited during the occupation of the frontline town at the beginning of the full-scale war.
After the community was liberated by the Defense Forces, the ruscists left the agent at her home town and instructed her on additional secrecy measures.
Subsequently, the asset was contacted by a 'liaison' - a fighter of russia's special unit BARS-16, who is fighting on the eastern front.
Texting the agent, he tasked her with collecting information on the bases and directions of movement of Ukrainian troops on Lyman direction.
The enemy was interested in fortifications, firing positions and routes of the units of the AFU Third Army Corps on Lyman direction.
To collect intelligence, the traitor walked around the target area and elicited information during conversations with local population.
The SSU documented the agent's crimes and took action to protect the locations of the Defense Force in the area.
The suspect was arrested at her home. SSU investigators served her a notice of suspicion under Article 111 of the CCU (high treason committed under martial law).
The enemy accomplice is in custody without bail and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor's Office.
