In Chernihiv, the SSU Military Counterintelligence has detained another agent of russia's federal security service. The perpetrator was preparing coordinates for new russian air strikes on the northern region of Ukraine.

During her arrest, the woman tried to delete texting with her handler and smash her smartphone to get rid of the material evidence.

According to the investigation, the enemy accomplice is a 39-year-old local resident who came to the occupiers' attention through Telegram channels offering 'easy money'.

After recruitment, the agent was sent to Kyiv region, where she attempted to identify and transmit to the enemy the geolocation of airfields with combat helicopters.

She received a 'list of locations' from the FSB with approximate addresses of possible military bases, near which she was to conduct reconnaissance. However, it did not contain any actual coordinates of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

After the asset failed to find any defence facilities at the coordinates provided by her handler, she returned to Chernihiv to adjust russian air strikes on local military registration offices.

Following instructions from the russian special service, she rented an apartment in a nine-storey building near a Territorial Recruitment Center and installed a telephone camera with remote access for the FSB on the windowsill.

In this way, the ruscists hoped to track the time when the facility was most crowded with conscripts in order to strike it with a missile.

The SSU documented the agent's crimes and took action to protect the locations of the Defence Forces. In the final stage of the special operation, the perpetrator was detained at her apartment.

SSU investigators notified her of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The suspect is in custody without bail and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was carried out jointly with the SSU Office in Chernihiv region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor's Office.
