
Denys Shmyhal and the Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine discussed expanding cooperation

The Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, held discussions with the Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine, Masashi Nakagome, on expanding cooperation between the two countries.
Denys Shmyhal emphasized that Ukraine is open to exchanging innovations and technologies that can save lives and strengthen peace.
"I invited our Japanese partners to take part in the implementation of projects in a number of important areas, particularly in the rehabilitation of Ukrainian service members. I also proposed considering support for one of the centers where service members of the Defence Forces released from captivity are undergoing rehabilitation," said the Defence Minister of Ukraine.
Denys Shmyhal thanked the Government and people of Japan for their comprehensive assistance and solidarity.
"Japan is a reliable partner, whose support has been strongly felt in our country," emphasized the Minister of Defence of Ukraine.
