Following instructions from the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, the Government, at an extraordinary meeting, adopted a series of decisions to quickly address frontline needs. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
Specifically, the following decisions were adopted:
1. Military units will be able to directly purchase used pick-up trucks, quad bikes, buggies, and motorcycles without excessive bureaucracy. "The cost will be determined based on expert assessments or market data. This will allow for rapid replacement of equipment worn out on the front lines," said the Head of Government.
2. Property lost or worn out in combat will be written off through a simplified procedure. For items valued up to UAH 1.7 million, the process will be expedited to ensure units receive replacements without delay.
3. Families of defenders who died in captivity will receive UAH 15 million in assistance. Additionally, the deadline for applying for one-time aid for wounded personnel or those who lost their ability to work after service has been extended to one year.
4. The Ministry of Defence has initiated legislative changes to defer the publication of military personnel's declarations for one year after the end of martial law, to prevent the enemy from exploiting this information.
"We must ensure our defenders have everything they need and support their families," emphasised Yulia Svyrydenko.
