The Security Service of Ukraine has detained another enemy informant in Mykolaiv. He is a 45-year-old local resident who adjusted russian missile and drone attacks on the port city.

According to the SSU cyber units, he was in contact with agent Sergei Lebedev (also known as 'Lokhmatyi), who is hiding in Donetsk and simultaneously works for the FSB and the GRU.

Following Lokhmatyi's instructions, his accomplice was preparing a new series of air strikes on Mykolaiv.

To identify and transmit the coordinates to the occupiers, the asset drove around the city, tracking the locations of large concentrations of Ukrainian troops.

The informant passed the data to his handler in the form of marks on online maps and deleted all texting after each communication session.

However, this did not help him. The SSU apprehended the agent at his home. Simultaneously, action was taken to protect the locations of the Defense Forces in the area.

During the searches, a phone was seized from the detainee with evidence of his sabotage activity.

SSU investigators notified him of suspicion under Article 114-2.3 of the CCU (unauthorized dissemination of information on movement or location of the AFU, under martial law).

The suspect is in custody without bail and faces up to 12 years in prison.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Mykolaiv region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor's Office.
