Based on evidence collected by the SSU, two more agents of russia's military intelligence ('GRU') who were adjusting enemy fire on the defenders of Donetsk region have received real prison sentences.

According to the investigation, the perpetrators monitored the geolocation of Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsk direction for the occupiers. The enemy was most interested in the coordinates of AFU fortified areas, air defense systems, artillery positions, and logistics depots.

The enemy used the intelligence to prepare combat operations involving guided bombs, drones, and missiles.

One of the agents, acting on the orders of her handler, attempted to identify the positions of Ukrainian electronic warfare units, which the russians planned to target with targeted air strikes.

Later, she moved to Dnipropetrovsk region, where she planned to hide from justice, but was detained by the SSU.

The court sentenced her to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Another agent carried out assignments of GRU officer, aka Senezh. Following his instructions, the woman spied on the movement of Defense Forces armored vehicles toward the eastern front line.

The SSU Counterintelligence detained the traitor in February 2024 at her home. Taking into account her cooperation with the investigation, the court sentenced her to 13 years in prison with confiscation of property.

For the crimes committed, both agents were found guilty under two articles of the CCU:

  • 111.2 (high treason committed under martial law);
  • 111-1.7 (collaboration).

The operation was carried out by the SSU Offices in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor's Office.
