SSU cyber experts have detained another FSB informant who was adjusting russian massive missile and bomb attacks on Kharkiv.

The main task of the suspect was to track and pass the coordinates of mobile firing groups, radar and anti-aircraft missile systems protecting the frontline city.

In this way, the ruscists planned to destroy the air defences of the regional centre in order to target the civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv.

According to the investigation, russian orders were executed by a 42-year-old local seller of baby strollers who came to the attention of the FSB when he posted anti-Ukrainian comments on social media.

To adjust russian attacks, during the air raid alert the informant monitored the air defence system from the balcony of his apartment on the outskirts of the city.

While observing, he marked the coordinates of potential targets on Google maps and passed them to a handler via anonymous chats.

According to findings, the occupiers planned to use missile weapons and super-heavy guided bombs to destroy military targets.

SSU officers have timely exposed the enemy informant and detained him at home. In addition, the SSU have taken comprehensive measures to secure the locations of the Defence Forces.

During the searches at home, the detainee was seized of a phone with evidence of his contacts with the occupiers.

SSU investigators served him a notice of suspicion under Article 114-2.2 of the CCU (unauthorized dissemination of information on the movement, location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, committed under martial law).

The offender is in custody facing up to 8 years in prison.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Kharkiv region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor's Office.
