The Security Service of Ukraine has prevented a new series of terrorist attacks in Ukraine. As a result of pre-emptive actions, seven FSB agents who were preparing to kill Ukrainian defenders with improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were detained.

The perpetrators were recruited by the occupiers through Telegram channels looking for "easy money". They included three minors.

In Dnipro, the SSU counterintelligence exposed two 14-year-old classmates from the town of Kamianske who tried to blow up a National Police patrol car.

Following the instructions of a russian intelligence officer, the young men arrived in the regional center, where they took an IED from a cache and placed it under a parked law enforcement car.

SSU officers exposed the minors and detained them when they were going to remotely activate the explosives.

Three more russian agents were detained in Kryvyi Rih. One of them is a 30-year-old drug addict who used to commit thefts and, after being recruited, manufactured an IED and placed it in a cache in the city.

The other two, 18-year-old locals, took explosives from this cache by order of the russians and installed them among the garages to blow up a Ukrainian serviceman.

A 14-year-old schoolgirl was exposed in Poltava region who made an IED on the instructions of the occupiers. The girl then hid it in an apartment to which she was sent by her handler.

After that, officers of the russian special services planned to conduct a terrorist attack against a Ukrainian serviceman at the said site.

The SSU Counterintelligence prevented another terrorist attack in Chernihiv region. This happened thanks to a 17-year-old teenager who contacted the SSU chatbot Burn the FSB-man in advance and informed about the intentions of the occupiers to recruit him to detonate an IED.

A 25-year-old drug addict from Vasylkiv, Kyiv region, who arrived in Kamianets-Podilskyi to commit a terrorist attack on the order of the FSB, was exposed in Khmelnytskyi region. The offender was detained red-handed when he placed explosives under the wheel of an AFU vehicle near an apartment building.

SSU investigators have notified the offenders of suspicion of committing crimes under two articles of the CCU:

- 111.2 (high treason committed under martial law);

- 258.2 (terrorist act).

The suspects are in custody facing from 12 years in prison to life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operations were carried out by the SSU Offices in Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Chernihiv and Khmelnytskyi regions under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor's Offices.
