The SSU Counterintelligence has detained another enemy informant who adjusted russian strikes on Kharkiv.
The woman was preparing a new attack by russian forces on the location of one of the City Council's departments. The perpetrator assumed that Ukrainian military personnel might be nearby, so she passed the location to the occupiers for a possible attack.
The aggressor's agent is a 45-year-old local unemployed woman. The occupiers recruited her through Telegram channels, where she left pro-russian comments.
Her task was to walk around the area near administrative buildings and check for military equipment and possible presence of Defense Forces units.
The asset maintained contact with the russian special services through a chatbot operated by Sergei Lebedev (also known as 'Lokhmatyi'), who is hiding in Donetsk and working for the occupiers.
The SSU Counterintelligence documented the traitor's intelligence gathering and apprehended her at home.
SSU investigators notified the detained woman of suspicion under two Articles of the CCU:
114-2.2 (unauthorized dissemination of information on the movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, if it is possible to identify them on the ground);
436-2.2 (justification of russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
The suspect is in custody without bail and faces up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Kharkiv region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor's Office.
