Following SSU investigation, three FSB agents who helped ruscists break through to Pokrovsk sentenced to 15 years in prison

Based on evidence collected by the Security Service, another three enemy agents, who were spying in Donetsk oblast, have been sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

They passed to the FSB the coordinates of the Defense Forces fighting on the hottest area of the front line - Pokrovsk direction.

The occupiers were interested in the geolocation of staffs and backup command posts, as well as the routes of Ukrainian military equipment to the contact line.

This information was extremely important for the enemy to plan offensive operations aimed at breaking through to Pokrovsk.

The convicted individuals are three residents of Donetsk region who wished for complete occupation of the oblast. They had written comments about this on Telegram channels, where they came to the attention of russian intelligence services.

One of them is a 43-year-old resident of Ukrayinsk, who worked at a local Ukrzaliznytsia railway station, where he spied on behalf of the FSB on Ukraine's Defense Forces trains.

His next task was to plant an improvised explosive device under the railway tracks to cut off the AFU's transport logistics towards the front line.

However, the SSU identified the traitor at an early stage and detained him while he was preparing the sabotage in May 2023.

Another perpetrator is a 22-year-old daughter of the rector of a church of moscow patriarchate's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Pokrovsk. She tracked the movements of Ukrainian troops for the occupiers. To do this, she installed a video camera under the dome of the church.

Another culprit is a 34-year-old employee of Ukrzaliznytsia from the town of Rodynske. He passed on to the FSB the locations of bridges used by Ukrainian Armed Forces convoys moving to the eastern front.

Based on evidence collected by SSU investigators, the court found the accused individuals guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The investigations were carried out by the SSU Offices in Donetsk, Luhansk and Cherkasy regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk and Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Offices.
