Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, together with members of the Government, will visit Kyiv, Ukraine, on Friday.

Budrys will meet with Andrii Sybiha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The Lithuanian and Ukrainian diplomatic leaders will discuss the situation on the frontline, the need for assistance to Ukraine, the process of Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO, and the implementation of Ukraine's Victory Plan.

"This visit to Ukraine by the 19th Government sends a message of our strong and unwavering support. Peace in Ukraine is a matter of both regional and Lithuania's national security, and we must all work together to bring about Ukraine's victory as soon as possible. I hope that this visit will also give a boost to the development of our bilateral cooperation," said Minister Budrys.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, together with other members of the Government, will meet with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, and will participate in a joint meeting of the Heads of Government of the Republic of Lithuania and the Governments they lead.
