- Kremlin Denies Talks Under Way With Kyiv On Halting Energy Strikes RFE/RL 30 Oct 2024 -- The Kremlin has denied a report in the Western media that Moscow and Kyiv have been engaged in secret negotiations to curb strikes on each other's energy infrastructure as casualties caused by Russian attacks continued to pile up in Ukraine on October 30.
- Statement by Russian Defence Ministry Russia MoD 30 Oct 2024 -- Last night, while the Kiev regime was attempting to launch a terrorist attack using fixed-wing UAVs against the facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation, 23 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defence systems on duty: seven UAVs over Rostov region, five over Kursk region, four over Smolensk region, three over Oryol and Bryansk regions, and one over Belgorod region.
