Russian Defence Minister holds meetings on security issues of border regions of Russian Federation

Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov held a regular meeting on ensuring the security of the population and infrastructure in the border areas of the country in Kursk, Bryansk, and Belgorod regions.
During the meeting today, additional measures were discussed to ensure the integrity and security of the territory, as well as to protect the population and infrastructure in Belgorod region from AFU attacks.
'We plan to hear a concrete action plan prepared by the General Staff on additional measures. We talk about, first of all, improving the effectiveness of the military command and control system in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies and administration of Belgorod region, defining responsible officials, and providing additional forces and facilities that are to be deployed to carry out basic tasks,' stressed the Russian Defence Minister.
Andrei Belousov noted that he is going to supervise the implementation of the presented plan personally.
The meeting was attended by Governor of Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov, deputy ministers of defence of the Russian Federation Lieutenant General Andrei Bulyga and Aleksei Krivoruchko as well as representatives of the Presidential Executive Office of Russia.
