- Hundreds of Ukrainian children evacuated from hospital hit by Russian missile VOA 09 Jul 2024 -- U.N. agencies have condemned a wave of Russian missile attacks Monday on densely populated areas of Ukraine that has killed dozens of people and forced the evacuation of hundreds of children from a hospital in the capital city Kyiv, severely damaged by a probable "direct hit" by a Russian missile.

Russia's alerted air defence systems shot down and intercepted three UAVs over Belgorod region, seven UAVs over Kursk region, two UAVs over Voronezh region, 21 UAVs over Rostov region, and five UAVs over Astrakhan region.

- Ukraine: Switzerland adopts further sanctions against Russia Federal Council - Swiss Government 09 Jul 2024 -- The Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (EAER), in its capacity as the competent body for sanctions, expanded its sanctions listings against Russia on 8 July.
