Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Judicial Year 2024-2025, President Erdoğan said: "We have taken steps of historic proportions in every area to ensure that our judicial system is efficient, reliable, impartial and independent." President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the opening ceremony of the Judicial Year 2024-2025 in Ankara.

"When we assumed the responsibility of governing our country with our august nation's will, we announced that one of the four pillars on which we will elevate Türkiye would be justice. And throughout our nearly 22-year-long governments, we have always stuck to these priorities of ours." President Erdoğan noted.

Stating that they have endeavored to strengthen the tie between the state and citizens and to consolidate the social peace, President Erdoğan added: "We have sought to implement the requirements of the warning that 'justice delayed is justice denied' with all its elements within our state. We have taken steps of historic proportions in every area to ensure that our judicial system is efficient, reliable, impartial and independent."

"WE WILL CREATE A STRONGER HUMAN RIGHTS PROTECTION SYSTEM"

Stressing that they will speed up the digital transformation in judicial services and units, President Erdoğan went on to say: "We will further improve law education and take steps accordingly. We will create a stronger human rights protection system with human rights action plan and introduce regulations that will serve to strengthen the right to a fair trial as well as personal freedom and security. We want to crown our goal of making the Century of Türkiye also the century of justice with a civilian constitution. We know that the Turkish democracy has more than enough capability, maturity and will to do this."
