Iran FM conveyed ErdoÄŸan's security concerns to Bashar Assad

Tehran (ISNA) - Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian by referring to his latest meeting with President of Syria Bashar Assad said, "During the visit, I conveyed security concerns, which Turkish President and Foreign Minister shared with me, to the Syrian President".
Regarding his latest official visit to Damascus, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote on his Instagram official account, "During my trip to Syria, I visited the Syrian President Mr. Bashar Assad. I told him that his latest visit to Tehran has been a turning point in bilateral cooperation. He also believes that Iran-Syria ties have been flourishing for more than 40 years. In addition to the bilateral relationships, there is a strategic alliance between the two countries".
"I also condemned Zionist Regime's aggression and told Mr. Assad that the silence of the west shows their double standards," Amir-Abdollahian added.
He went on to say, "I conveyed security concerns, which Turkish President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan and his Foreign Minister shared with me, to Mr. Assad. Moreover, I told them frankly that the Islamic Republic of Iran's stance is resolving issues through dialogue and cooperation, and we're against any force or military operation against Syria".
