Syrian Army retakes terrorist-held village in eastern country

Damascus, Oct 22, IRNA -- Syrian armed forces have liberated Khsham, a village in Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria from Daesh terrorists, the Syrian Arab New Agency reported on Sunday.
'Army units, in cooperation with the supporting and allied forces, regain control over Khsham Village in Deir ez-Zor Province after eliminating the last gatherings of ISIS [Daesh] terrorists in it, according to SANA reporter in the province.
Khsham village is located in east of Euphrates and south east of Deir ez-Zor.
Syrian Army and the resistance have broken the siege of Deir ez-Zor on September 5.
The oil-rich city has been under the control of Daesh since July 14, 2014 and the humanitarian aids were only air dropped.
