Syrian Aircraft Deliver Ammunition to Deir ez-Zor Besieged by Daesh

Syrian cargo aircraft successfully dropped off ammunition to the servicemen at the military airfield at the city of Deir ez-Zor, besieged by Daesh.

BEIRUT (Sputnik) – All of the cargo, fitted with a parachute system, landed on an airfield territory, Al Mayadeen TV broadcaster reported on Friday.

Last Saturday, the servicemen at the base managed to force terrorists to retreat while the military in the city launched a counter-offensive after Russia and Syrian aircraft carried out strikes on targets of Daesh, banned in Russia and many other countries.
