Border Guard: Three Iranian Boats Were Spotted After Entering Saudi Waters

Riyadh, June 27, 2020, SPA -- The Official Spokesperson for the Border Guards stated that maritime border guard patrols monitored at 18:30, on Thursday, 4/11/1441 AH, three Iranian boats after they entered the Saudi waters, where they were immediately followed up and repeated warnings issued to them to stop, but they refused to respond.

According to the procedures followed in these cases, the Border Guards fired warning shots, forcing the Iranian boats to retreat.

The Spokesperson indicated that the Border Guards confirmed that it would not allow any violations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's waters.
