Central MD's military signalmen practise a range of measures to counter enemy's active EW interference
10.03.2025 (20:00)
During practical exercises in Novosibirsk region, the Central MD's signal troops practised a range of measures to counter electronic interference caused by electronic warfare systems of the mock enemy.
When talking over radio, the servicemen faced with active interference provided by the electronic warfare systems of the mock enemy on the main communication channels, which prevented the radio communication sessions from taking place with the required quality. The military signalmen immediately carried out a working frequency manoeuvre, rerouting the service antennas and deploying an additional P-431AM mobile communications system, on which they continued to transmit the masking signal on an overwhelming frequency. Thus, the servicemen carried out the task of organising and setting up a communication channel of the required quality in the shortest possible time.
In addition, the signalmen practised the standards for special and communication training, as well as met standards for tactical medicine and first aid.
In total, more than 30 servicemen of the Central MD's communication formation were involved in the exercises.
