The Komodo 2025 international naval exercise involving Russian Navy ships entered the final stage off Indonesian coast. ? More than20 warships from different states took part in the exercise. The Russian Navy was represented by the corvettes Rezky and Aldar Tsydenzhapov of the Russian Federation as well as by the Pacific Fleet's medium sea tanker Pechenga.

During the practical episode of the exercise, the ships' crews practised rescue tasks at sea. The ships of the multinational detachment as part of tactical groups searched for a civilian ship in distress and conducted a rescue operation.

Search operation was carried out in the designated areas with the help of shipborne helicopters. A Ka-27PS helicopter was involved from the Russian side.

After practising all the tasks, the ships' crews took part in a farewell ceremony, during which the ships took on opposite courses.

Currently, the detachment of the Pacific Fleet continues to perform tasks according to the long-distance mission plan.

The Komodo 2025 International Exercise began on 16 February. During the week, the ships' crews took part in sports and cultural events, a security symposium, and a multinational parade. In total, over 20 warships and observers from more than 30 countries took part in the naval drills organised by the Indonesian Navy.
