Eastern Military District starts preparation for Selenga 2025 joint Russian-Mongolian military exercise

The first planning conference of the Selenga 2025 joint Russian-Mongol military exercise was concluded at the Eastern Military District's Headquarters of the Combined Arms Army stationed in the Republic of Buryatia.
During the talks, representatives of the Eastern Military District and the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Mongolia agreed on the concept of the joint exercise, the area of the event, the number of forces and means involved in tactical operations as well as the organisation of logistics support.
The Selenga 2025 military exercise is to take place in the second half of the year.
The upcoming exercise is a continuation of the glorious traditions of our forefathers. The event is going to contribute to qualitative and successful cooperation aimed at strengthening security in the region and the improvement Russia-MongoI relations to a higher level.
