
Russian Navy floats out another anti-sabotage ship in Rybinsk

Today, another anti-sabotage ship of the 21980 project Grachonok, built for the Russian Navy, has been floated out in Rybinsk (Yaroslavl region).
The Grachonok-class ships are intended to patrol the coastal waters and protect the fleet's bases from underwater sabotage forces and means of the enemy.
The ship is equipped with modern small arms, anti-sabotage, radiotechnical and sonar weaponry. It is equipped with the latest electronic equipment, communication facilities, video surveillance facilities, and navigation equipment. With a displacement of about 140 tonnes, its length is 31 metres, and its beam is more than 7 metres, the range at economic speed of 16 knots is 200 miles.
The ship is planned to be fully completed very soon and is undergoing a test cycle, after which it will be adopted by the Kola Flotilla of mixed forces of the Northern Fleet.
