Friends,

Traditionally, the peoples of Russia and Tajikistan have reached out to each other to secure their living space against threats from outside as well as to promote spiritual and cultural affinity and humanitarian exchanges.

In Russia, the classics of Tajik-Persian literature, such as Abul-Qasim Ferdowsi, Abu Abdullah Rudaki and Mirzo Tursunzoda, are highly appreciated and remembered, and continue to be published and studied. This interpenetration is one of the important bricks cementing our solidarity on all other issues.

Like Tajikistan, we stand for dialogue among civilisations, cultures and religions, and for respect for the cultural and civilisational diversity of the modern world. When there is such spiritual closeness and solidarity, it strengthens the resolve to pursue its just goals despite those who want such solidarity and the enduring values on which it is based to be consigned to oblivion and replaced by their "rules".

Westerners say that everyone must respect "the rules-based order". According to these "rules" the Russian language and Orthodoxy present a terrible threat to a world which wants to forget Christian values, Muslim values and the values of all world religions, replacing them with their "rainbow practices". Look at how the West, having started a war against the Russian Federation through the Ukrainian regime, is treating the Russian language and Orthodoxy and the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

We must stand up for our ideals, our history, the right to our language, culture and religion, the right to live for ourselves, our children and grandchildren. This spiritual determination is an enormous support for our men who are risking their lives defending these rights and values in the battlefield against an openly Russophobic and neo-Nazi regime.

The contribution made by the Church, by Orthodoxy and Islam, the people involved in spiritual, secular and ecclesiastical life is invaluable. We will always remember it and do everything we can to support your blessed endeavours.
