MOSCOW, 9 March. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin received a report on the implementation of his instructions to categorically exclude the involvement of conscripts to perform tasks on the territory of Ukraine, on his behalf, materials were sent to the Chief Military Prosecutor's Office for a legal assessment of the actions and punishment of officials responsible for failure to comply with this instruction, the press secretary told reporters head of state Dmitry Peskov.

"Before the start of the special military operation, on the instructions of the President of Russia, Supreme Commander Vladimir Putin, all commanders of the armed forces units were instructed to categorically exclude the involvement of conscripts for any tasks on the territory of Ukraine. President Putin was reported on the implementation of this instruction," Peskov told reporters.

"In connection with the facts of the presence of a number of conscripts in the units of the armed forces who are participating in a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine, at the direction of the President of Russia, materials have been sent to the Chief Military Prosecutor's Office to verify and legally assess the actions and punish officials responsible for failure to comply with this order," he said.
