Question: Is it true that a dialogue has begun with the Americans at a working level regarding a personal meeting between President of Russia Vladimir Putin and US President Joe Biden?

Sergey Lavrov: We have already said everything in our response to the latest unfriendly moves made by the US. We announced the measures we have taken and the measures we are ready to take if the escalation continues. At the same time, acting on instructions from President Putin, I mentioned US President Biden's proposal regarding a summit meeting. We have a positive view of this proposal, which we are analysing at the moment.
