Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- The south Korean trigger-happy elements staged combined firing drills of motorized troops and air force units in Phochon, Kyonggi Province on Sept. 13, according to south Korean Yonhap News.
They amassed for the military exercises more than 1 500 troops of 17 units and over 130 military hardware pieces of 15 sorts such as tank, armored car, airplane, MLRS and gunship.
The south Korean military staged madcap firing drill of various kinds of weapons while recklessly waging offensive operation and shelling exercises of the 7th Corps of the south Korean army, a mobile corps. It, at the same time, let military personnel of different countries and citizens in Kyonggi Province and primary, secondary and high school students observe the drills, fanning up a war hysteria against the north.
In the meantime, the south Korean 8th corps announced that it would hold a combined counter-infiltration drill in the area of Ryongdong of south Korean Kangwon Province on Sept. 18 and 19.
All units of the corps and naval and air forces are due to be hurled into the provocative drill which will be held under the pretext of polishing up the joint operation of the three services in the area to cope with someone's "provocation".
In recent days, the south Korean military has staged more and more war exercises for aggression on the DPRK and the intensity of the drills has increased day by day.
The ceaseless war exercises by the south Korean bellicose forces are arousing surging indignation of all fellow countrymen and the world peace-loving people.
