Minju Joson Slams S. Korean Authorities' Saber-rattling
Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)
Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- The south Korean authorities are staging large-scale Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises together with the U.S. imperialists, driving the situation to the brink of war. This is a premeditated criminal saber-rattling to do harm to the fellow countrymen in the north at any cost.
Minju Joson Tuesday observes this in a bylined commentary.
Key Resolve and Foal Eagle which involve huge forces and latest war equipment enough to wage a war are turning the whole of south Korea into war drill grounds, increasing the danger of a new war, nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula, the commentary notes, and goes on:
The conspiratorial "Cheonan" warship sinking case was cooked up in the wake of the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle two years ago. No one can vouch that similar shocking case would not be re-orchestrated.
The group of traitors trying hard to invent a pretext for igniting a war against the DPRK is claiming that they are "annual defensive drills." But no one would believe this.
The DPRK has already admonished the group in an understandable manner and showed its retaliatory strike in practice. Nevertheless the group made a de facto declaration of a war against the DPRK, failing to come to its senses. What remains to be done by the DPRK is a practical action to sweep away from this land the Lee Myung Bak group and warmongers at home and abroad by its own-style war method and powerful striking means.
The DPRK has never made an empty talk.
