Rodong Sinmun Resignation of Lee Myung Bak Regime Urged
Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)
Pyongyang, June 22 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak regime's resignation is what the south Korean people are demanding. It is quite natural that traitor Lee has become an object of public curse and criticism. He has engaged himself in tyranny and arbitrariness, irregularities and unpopular rule since he took office three years ago with false commitments and with the U.S. backing.
Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says this in a bylined article.
Miserable was the fate of south Korea's successive rulers who pursued treacherous, pro-U.S. and fascist policies and sought confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north, the article notes, adding:
The south Korean conservative regime has been plunged into a serious ruling crisis and its treacherous policy is doomed to failure.
Such being the situation, the regime persists in the policy of confrontation with the DPRK, calling for "adherence to principle".
It is getting hell-bent on the war moves against the DPRK while persistently pursuing confrontation between the north and the south, a policy rejected by all the fellow countrymen, with the backing of foreign forces. What it is seeking is to extremely deteriorate the north-south relations and bring the situation to the brink of nuclear war.
Distress to the nation should be removed without delay.
