S. Korea to Stage More War Maneuvers

Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet Joint Chiefs of Staff announced that military exercises codenamed Taeguk would be staged in three days from May 30, according to south Korean Yonhap News.
The warmongers declared that in the exercises they would apply the program on reformed commanding structure, keynote of which is to vest chiefs of general staff of the services under the Joint Chiefs of Staff with the right to command operations, for the first time and confirm its efficiency.
Meanwhile, a unit of the puppet ground force on May 26 staged a drill for infiltrating into operation area after parachuting by helicopters in the area of Mahyon-ri, Kunnam-myon, Cholwon County, south Korean Kangwon Province.
Earlier on May 25 those of the puppet Defense Ministry, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Chemical, Biological and Radioactive Protection Command started a drill for countering biological terrorism and disaster for the first time in history under the supervision of the U.S. Forces Command present in south Korea.
