QUETTA, Pakistan -- A bomb attack has killed five people, including at least three soldiers, in Quetta, the capital of Pakistan's southwestern Baluchistan Province.
Police say the bomb was hidden in a motorcycle and exploded near an army vehicle escorting schoolchildren.
About 15 other people were injured in the blast on November 21, some of them critically. No one has claimed responsibility yet.
The attack comes on the eve of a Developing Eight (D-8) summit in the capital, Islamabad.
The city rarely hosts major international conferences due to Taliban and Al-Qaeda-linked violence plaguing Pakistan.
