Car Bombs Kill Four In Iraq
November 08, 2012
Iraqi police say three car bombs have killed four people and injured 16.
Two almost simultaneous explosions occurred in the predominantly Shi'ite town of Mahmudiya, 30 kilometers south of Baghdad.
The first one killed two people and injured four. A second later, another car bomb went off, killing one person and wounding three.
In the southern city of Hillah, a bomb went off in a car parked in a commercial area, killing one civilian and injuring nine.
Hillah is 95 kilometers south of Baghdad.
Violence has decreased in Iraq in recent years but insurgent attacks are still frequent.
