TEHRAN (ISNA) - An Iranian senior military official said allocation of 3,000,000 hectares of Kurdistan region of Iraq to (PJAK) terrorist group shows treachery to Iraqi people.

"Officials and the Head of Iraqi Kurdistan region betrayed Iranian and Iraqi nation and gave large part of Iraqi soil to PJAK terrorist group through collusion and without informing Iraqi central government. They gave freedom to the criminal group to get blackmail and extortion from Iraqi people," the Iranian official said.

"The group supported by Kurdistan regional government carries out terrorist attacks against Iranian nation."

The group has established training and administrative centers in the allocated soil and receives extortion from Iraqi people."

He then warned, "terrorists would not be allowed to live in Iraq and launch aggression against Iranian nation. Our right is preserved to target terrorist centers in the above-mentioned border areas and suppress them," he added.
