Iran says visiting delegation in Iraq safe, sound

TEHRAN (ISNA) - Iranian ambassador to Iraq Hassan Danaei-Far said on Wednesday the visiting Iranian delegation in Iraq is safe and sound.

Some reports say a terrorist attempt came against the Iranian petroleum delegation which has arrived in Baghdad for oil talks.

"Reports say that a shooting came in a district where the Iranian delegation was passing. The Iranian team does not seem to be the target of the terrorists," he told ISNA.

He said one of the Iraqi guards was injured in the attack.
