• Bomb Kills Soldier on Combat Logistics Patrol in Iraq AFPS 18 Sep 2005 -- A 56th Brigade Combat Team soldier was killed by a roadside bomb while on a combat logistics patrol Sept. 17 near Asad, Iraq, military officials reported today.
• IED detonates on Task Force Liberty patrol, two suspects detained MNF-I 18 Sep 2005 -- Task Force Liberty Soldiers fired on two men fleeing the scene of an improvised explosive device attack in Ad Duluiyah around 10 a.m. Sept. 18.
