• Straw rejects UK blame for Iraq's oil-for-food scandal IRNA 16 Apr 2005 -- Foreign Secretary Jack Straw has denied the UK blind eye to the illegal trading of Iraqi oil following accusations by UN Secretary General Kofi Annan that Britain and the US were partly to blame for the oil-for-food scandal.
