- IRAQ / WRAP VOA 10 Jul 2004 -- There are conflicting reports about the fate of a Filipino truck driver held hostage in Iraq. Philippines President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo said in Manila he was being taken to a hotel. But there was no immediate confirmation of his release, and no word from Iraq. But the Iraqi foreign minister said Saturday he is doing all he can to secure the release of hostages in Iraq. Meanwhile, coalition forces battled insurgents in the so-called Sunni triangle, and a gas pipeline was attacked Saturday in northern Iraq.
- Three Iraqis Killed, Gas Pipeline Sabotaged RFE/RL 10 Jul 2004 -- The U.S. military in Iraq says Marines clashed today with insurgents in the city of Al-Ramadi, west of Baghdad, killing two of the attackers.
- 3 Killed in Iraq Violence VOA News 10 Jul 2004 -- At least two Iraqis were killed and six others were wounded Saturday, during clashes between U.S. Marines and Iraqi insurgents in the restive town of Ramadi, west of Baghdad.

- Iran to take legal action with Iraqi court against Saddam soon IRNA 10 Jul 2004 -- General Prosecutor Ayatollah Abdolnabi Namazi said on Saturday that Iran would apply the international law to take legal action against Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
- PHILIPPINES IRAQ HOSTAGE VOA 10 Jul 2004 -- The Philippine government says its small force will remain in Iraq until mid-August, its long-planned departure date. This comes as a Filipino worker taken in hostage in Iraq pleads for his life.
