• Iraqi AAA fired at ONW aircraft UNITED STATES EUROPEAN COMMAND (30 Apr 00) -- Iraqi forces fired anti-aircraft artillery (AAA) from a site near Bashiqah. Coalition aircraft responded to the Iraqi attacks by dropping ordnance on elements of the Iraqi integrated air defense system.
• U.N. Security Council Urges Iraq to Report on Kuwaiti POWs By Judy Aita Washington File 26 April 2000 -- The coordinator of efforts to get information on Kuwaiti POWs and other persons missing since the Gulf War told the Security Council April 26 that the situation is a humanitarian tragedy which deserves the attention of the highest levels of government.

• STATEMENT BY RUSSIAN FOREIGN MINISTRY OFFICIAL SPOKESMAN - 07 April 2000 - Data on casualties after the latest American and British air strikes against Southern Iraq has been published in Baghdad. Fourteen persons were killed and 19 wounded as a result of the bombings of civilian facilities.

• COALITION AIRCRAFT STRIKE IRAQI MILITARY TARGETS IN THE SOUTH UNITED STATES CENTRAL COMMAND April 4, 2000 -- F-16 "Fighting Falcon," U.S. Navy F/A-18 "Hornet" and F-14 "Tomcat," and British Royal Air Force GR-1 "Tornado" aircraft enforcing the Southern No-Fly Zone used precision-guided munitions to strike Iraqi military anti-aircraft artillery batteries, a surface-to-air missile site and radar sites in southern Iraq.
