IRGC general slams foreign trends against Iran missile power
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, March 7, IRNA -- The West along with some reactionary Arab countries in the region and the Zionist regime of Israel have adopted a unanimous position to counter acquisition of defensive missile power by Iran, said an IRGC commander on Wednesday.
'Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran, regarding development of its missiles, defensive military hardware, radars, marine vessels, smart bombs and drones is among five advanced world countries,' Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh Commander of Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps said in the margin of an IRGC industrial achievement exhibition.
'They are basically against the Iranian intellectuals who have acquired the knowledge to develop the country's defensive systems,' General Hajizadeh said.
He also lauded the young Iranian intellectuals and experts at the country's universities and knowledge-based companies who helped promote Iran's defensive power.
