3 Iranian warships berth in Mumbai Port Trust

New Delhi, March 6, IRNA -- Three Iranian warships berthed in Mumbai Port Trust to promote relations between two countries.
The operational-training flotilla consisting of Naghdi, Bayandor and Tomb destroyers aim at reinforcing relations between Iran and India and to promote peace and friendship culture, the public diplomacy office of Iran consulate general reported.
The supervisor of Iran consulate general in Mumbai Ahmad Sadeqi, Iranian military attaché Reza Karimi attended the welcoming ceremony.
Holding talks with senior Indian commanders, visiting military and training centers, participating in cultural and historical sites and holding sports competitions are on the itinerary of the trip.
