Commander vows revenge on terrorists

Tehran, June 8, IRNA -- Deputy Commander of Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami said that Iran will take revenge on terrorists and their supporters for the bloods of those martyred during terrorist attacks in Tehran on Wednesday.
Commenting on the terror attack in Tehran on Wednesday, he said that terrorists failed to enter the main section of Majlis due to the firm resistance of the IRGC and disciplinary forces.
Today's operation was successful, as the attacks failed to disrupt the MPs' session which was aired by Radio, he said.
Touching on terror attacks on Mausoleum of Imam Khomeini, Salami said that two terrorists moving towards the entrance of the shrine were stopped by the security forces. Both of them were killed.
"We will never stop fighting terrorism even for a moment and we will take revenge on terrorists and their supporters for the bloods of those martyred during the terrorist attacks," he said.
