The fuel of the new nuclear power plant will be made without enriched uranium. Tehran continues to develop its energy sector despite Western countries' concern about the character of Iran's nuclear program.

MOSCOW, January 11 (Sputnik) – Iran is planning to present its first enriched uranium-free nuclear fuel complex on April 9, Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi stated.

Salehi was quoted as saying by Iran's ISNA news agency that the produced fuel will be similar to the one used at the Bushehr nuclear power plant.

AEOI head also said that during the November P5+1 talks on the Iranian nuclear program, 'the two sides have roughly reached a full agreement and agreed on general principles,' however Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that his country did everything possible to hinder the agreement with Iran.

The P5+1 group, which includes Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China and Germany, has conducted several rounds of talks with Iran to ensure the peaceful nature of Tehran's nuclear program.

During the November 2014 talks in Vienna, the negotiators failed to reach a long-term agreement, extending the deadline until July 1, 2015.
