TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister said the country would not reach a deal with the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany if Iran's 'red lines' are not observed.

'If the talks underway between Iran and G5+1 yield results, the results are definitely observing Iran's intended red lines, and otherwise we will reach no agreement,' said Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Europe and the US Majid Takhte Ravanchi, who is a member of Iranian nuclear negotiating team.

He said the talks would start on July 2 and close on July 21, adding that the two sides would decide bout how to press ahead with the talks mid July if they failed to reach an agreement during the period.

He added the two sides may extend time of talks for another specific period.

Elsewhere, regarding Iranian missile activities, he said, 'We will not allow that our country's defense issues be discussed in talks. They have not been discussed and will not be (in the future).'
