TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan said the country's missile capabilities are not negotiable.

His remarks came after the US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel called for investigation of Iranian missile capability after the nuclear deal between Iran and the 6 world powers in the future.

'Iran's missile capability is conventional and deterrent and not negotiable,' Dehghan added.

He also said that annihilation of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons of Zionist regime and the US should be on the agenda if any issue is to be pursued after the nuclear deal.

Although Iranian officials have frequently reiterated that the country's defense and missile capabilities are out of the questions, Hagel after his recent Middle Eastern visit had claimed that Iran's missile capabilities would is the next step after a nuclear agreement.

He claimed that Iranian nuclear issue is on the spotlight to be followed by the country's missile capability.
