Iran to install missiles with 4-km range on helicopters

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Force Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan said the country will install missiles with the range of four kilometers on helicopters.
'For the first time, missiles with the range of four kilometers will be installed on helicopters to be tested in Baitulmuqaddis (Holy Quds) drill,' Pourdastan said.
He further said that helicopter shooting and also their insight system in night have been optimized.
Piston helicopters are used for training pilots in advanced countries, he said, adding the country is seeking to indigenize piston helicopter by the end of this year (started on March 21).
