IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, July 17, IRNA -- Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi said Wednesday that members of the Group 5+1 have voiced readiness to resume talks with Iran and that Tehran would definitely continue the talks in future.
Speaking to reporters at the end of a cabinet meeting, Salehi said no letter has been exchanged between the two sides on resumption of the talks.
However, the minister said the G5+1 has announced its readiness for continuation of talks.
He stressed that president-elect Hassan Rohani should determine the negotiating team after taking office.
Asked if he is a member of the negotiating team for the next round of talks with the western countries, Salehi said he was not told anything in that regard.
