No technical problem in Bushehr power plant: IAEO Chief
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Dec 12, IRNA -- Head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization Fereydoun Abbasi said Wednesday that there is no technical problem in the Bushehr nuclear power plant in southern Iran.
Speaking to IRNA at the end of a cabinet meeting, Abbasi made the remarks while commenting on recent claims made by western media on existing certain technical problems in the 100-MW power plant.
Rejecting the claims, Abbasi , also a Presidential Advisor, said they are nothing but "mere lies."
He said the power plant is under "pre-planned supervisions to enable Iranian experts to receive the facility from their Russian counterparts who had primarily operated the power plant."
