Jazayeri: Soft war headquarters established by Iranian Armed Forces

Tehran, Dec 1, IRNA -- Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces for Cultural Affairs and Defense Publicity Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri on Saturday announced that the soft war headquarters has been established at the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces.

Addressing a group of military personnel, he said "We should accelerate our activities in the era of soft war and make necessary changes and reforms."

There are hundreds of think tanks in the US monitoring the Islamic Republic of Iran as their main rival, he said.

Enemy is very serious in its enmity, he said, adding "We should accept the reality that the enemies are far ahead of us and enjoy more facilities but lack our motives."

Enemies are now doing their best to create obstacles on the way of Iran's success and progress in Cyber war, he said.

The first gathering on cyber battalions organized to equip national media was held in Tehran on Saturday.
